From script to final render.

In 2019, Pasadena City College adopted a new approach to academics, the Guided Pathways model, which aims to increase completion rates, reduce completion time and increase equity among students. The challenge? Not many students knew what it was.

That’s where we came in. 

In partnership with motion designer and producer, Jack Harrison, I conceptualized and developed a series of animated explainer videos for the college, to help explain and promote the new program to their faculty and students, using adventure and way-finding metaphors to make it accessible to any audience.
